This Privacy Policy explains how EarnedStars ("EarnedStars," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our review-management service (the "Service"). By using the Service or our website at earnedstars.com, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who We Are

EarnedStars provides software that helps local service businesses ("Business Customers") request and manage customer feedback and reviews. We serve two groups: (a) the Business Customers who subscribe to our Service, and (b) the end customers of those businesses who may receive feedback-request messages.

2. Information We Collect

From Business Customers: name, business name, email address, phone number, billing information, business details (such as service area and Google review link), and account login information.

From end customers (the Business Customer's clients): name, mobile phone number, the rating or feedback they provide, and message history related to feedback requests. This information is provided to us by the Business Customer, who is responsible for obtaining appropriate consent.

Automatically: basic usage and device data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected through standard web technologies.

3. SMS / Text Messaging

Mobile messaging: EarnedStars sends SMS text messages on behalf of Business Customers to their end customers who have consented to be contacted. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency is limited (typically one message per completed job, plus at most one reminder). Recipients can reply STOP at any time to opt out of further messages, and HELP for assistance. We honor opt-out requests promptly. We do not sell or share mobile opt-in data or phone numbers with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

6. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. Business Customers may request deletion of their account data, and end customers may contact us (or the relevant business) to request deletion of their information, subject to legal requirements.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You may opt out of text messages by replying STOP. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
